Pricing and Conditions

Your Art Photo Studio will make all types of photoshoots, including offsite photo sessions at unusual locations and photo sessions in nature, near the lake, in the forest, in the air, in the water, all atypical places of your choice.

All artistic works such as paintings, drawings, photographs, etc. are protected by Canadian Copyright Law (section Artistic). The copyright owner is usually the author of the work.

Under Canadian copyright law, a photographer's work includes both processed and original photographs.

If a photograph is published or posted anywhere, it must include the author's name and optionally complete mailing address of the owner of the copyright (please see the full explanation on the Official Government website of Canada, sections Owner and Author).

All works of the photographer are posted only on this official website and official social media pages that are linked to this website. Also on two platforms in the global photo community (Photocrowd.com and 500px), links to which are also presented on this official website (please see menu section About —> Awards and About —> Awards page).

Without the permission of the photographer or/and the relevant signed documents, no one has the right to post the work of the photographer. An exception may be the social media of the people in the photo themselves, if this was agreed by written electronic correspondence (mailing, texting) or by signing the appropriate documents. All texting, mailing or paper agreement will be retained as long as the photographs are displayed on this website.

If you come across a photo from this site anywhere other than the photographer's official pages (mentioned above), please contact the photographer or directly notify the appropriate copyright organization in Canada yourself (please use menu section Additional contacts and information from the Official Government website of Canada).

Terms of photo publication

1. Non-public photo session

Only if the photo session was paid and the client agreed in advance to save the photo in Private mode (Incognito photo session), then the photos remain private and are not published anywhere by anyone. There is an additional fee for this type of incognito photo session.

2. Photos will be published

If the photo session was paid or free, the photos are published by both the client and the photographer in the social media.

3. Photos will participate in photo contests

By mutual agreement of the client and the photographer, the photo can be sent to photo competitions and exhibitions. In this case, an additional document must be signed.

4. Gift certificates (photoshoot proposal) received for free

In the case of Gift certificates / free photoshoot proposition were personally received from the photographer as a gift, the conditions of paragraph 2 or 3 above apply.

Important!

In all cases, when booking a photo session, you receive a document to sign, where you choose the type of service and how the photo will be used after.

Signing a document with shooting details is mandatory for all types of photo shoots (paid and free)!

Preparing for Your Photoshoot

Often people want a professional photo shoot to have high quality, sharp, artistic photos that are better than a phone photo. All this and much more can be provided by a professional photo session.

The back side of clear, detailed, sharp, professional photos is that they show all the imperfections and all small details. For this reason, it is very important to prepare for a photo shoot, otherwise you will waste your time, the photographer's time, and your money for nothing.

Everyone hopes that the post-processing of the photo will remove all the flaws. It is true that photo editing can remove imperfections, rashes, pimples, scars, etc., but cannot remove eaten nails, unwashed hair, etc.

For all the reasons above, preparation for a photo session is required.

The maximum can be done by the wish, but this necessary minimum is mandatory:

1. washed hair;

2. uneaten nails, uneaten nail color/ Shellac (better without it at all);

3. uneaten lips (if possible, please apply lip balm);

4. non-sticky, falling makeup (better without it at all or adequate makeup);

5. not swollen face (after a night party, tears, flights, etc.);

6. unwrinkled clean clothes;

7. please respect the range of colors for the clothes chosen for the session (especially, if it is a family or couples photoshoot).

Conditions under which photo services can be refused without a refund of prepayment

A photo session is not only exactly the time allotted for it (1-1.5 hours). This is also the time of preparation for it, preparation of props, getting into a unique place for a photo session (40 minutes - 1 hour) and much more. And then a long work in Photoshop to edit photographic material (process, retouch, etc.). Therefore, it is very important to respect the previously agreed time and conditions of the photo session. In case of non-compliance with contractual conditions, photo services may be refused for several reasons, there are the main ones:

1. being late by more than 20-30 minutes;

2. arriving in an inappropriate condition: unwashed hair, eaten nails, messy makeup, dirty clothes, etc. (please see section Preparing for Your Photoshoot);

3. if the appearance / style does not correspond to the previously discussed concept of the photo session;

4. if a person starts preparing for a photoshoot during a photoshoot;

5. arrival with a group of people (mood support team) who were not previously discussed;

6. if the photo session was booked for one person, but some undiscussed additional people come for shooting as well;

7. arrival with pets must be agreed in advance and in this case the owners are obliged to take care of food and water for their animal.

* during pre-wedding, maternity, children's photo shoots, a support group/person may be needed;

in this case, please discuss this and all the details in advance.

Booking a photo session

Booking a photo session is necessary to keep your desired time and date. When booking, a 50% deposit is required, which is non-refundable if the photo session is canceled less than a week in advance.

Important!

After booking the date and making a prepayment, you will receive a document where you select the type of services and how the photo will be used after: private shooting, photo for publication in social media, photo for participation in photo contests, etc. (please see section above Terms of photo publication).

The process of photo editing and the result delivery

Within 1-3 days after the photo session, you will receive a link to the photo gallery, where you can select a photo for processing. The editing will take from 1-3 weeks depending on the season. You will receive all your edited high-resolution pictures by email. For your convenience, you may receive two types/sizes of photos: one for social media posting and one for high quality printing.

Pricing

The price consists not only of the time of the photo session, but also of the time spent on photo editing after.

Mini photo session - 50%

It is possible to choose any version of the photo shoot and make it a mini version: 50% of the time, 50% of the photos, 50% of the price!

Portrait - $100

This package includes:

1) 50 min of shooting with 1 look (1 location);

2) 7 edited high-resolution photos (skin + color retouching);

3) 100-150 origanal photos;
